Newtown Women in Arts Festival commission
Dancing with the Golden Girls was a commissioned performance by AAW! (Artists At Work!) for the Women in Arts festival held in Newtown, 2011. For one month I joined a group of pensioners from my grandmother's old age home to dance twice a week. We choreographed two routines together and this was then performed in Newtown on Women's Day.
